Birthday Party

Happy Birthday!

Today is Madilyn's 1st birthday. I am amazed whenever I think about how much she has grown, developed, and learned in just one year. We love her so much and are so grateful to have her as a part of our family. We're planning to have a little party on Sunday, so we'll post some pictures of the festivities later.

Grandpa Shelley

This is Madi with me and my Grandpa Shelley and Grandma Bobbie. We went to my Aunt Shelley's funeral in Arizona, and although it was a really long drive, Madi did great.

Early Walker

Madi took her first real steps on her own today. Matt started walking when he was 9 1/2 months, so Madi's just following in his footsteps. We didn't get any pictures of her first steps, but she'll be walking the rest of her life, so I guess we don't really need pictures in order to document it.

New Cabinet

We got a new cabinet, but Madi thinks it's just a great big toy.

General Conference

Madi really enjoyed General Conference, mostly because she could play with her aunt and uncles who came over.

Day at the Park

We went to the park while Matt's sister, Michelle, was here visiting. We took along some bread to feed the ducks and geese. They weren't too shy, and Madi wasn't sure what to think!
